The sector will host over 80 renewable energy and energy adjacent events from September to November 2025. Most of the events emphasise finance and investment in renewables. Forums like the African Energy Week, ESG Impact Investing Summit, and Finance Inclusive Conferences all show the vital role of capital mobilisation for growth in the sector.

• Our list also features specialised summits on off-grid systems and decentralised energy solutions that address Africa’s unique energy access challenges.

• South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria will collectively host more than 70% of the events. Emerging hotspots include Tanzania, Tunisia, Ghana, The Gambia, Rwanda and Libya.
